Is there a Dress code?

Filming and photography

We will be taking photos and video during the conference for general use on future PFS materials and media and for promotional purposes for future PFS events. Some partners may also use photos and footage for promotional purposes. By attending this event, you are consenting for us to take and share these photos/footage. You have the right to contact us at any point to ask us not to use a specific photograph – please contact [email protected]

Is there free WiFi?

Complimentary WiFi will be available throughout the conference venue.

What about food?

Food and beverage will be provided to all attendees, including welcome coffee, lunch, mid-morning and mid-afternoon breaks.

Where can I stay?

We have an allocation of bedrooms on hold at various hotels within a short distance of the venue. Click here for more information.

How do I get there?

Manchester Central is located in the heart of Manchester. Manchester’s M60 orbital motorway provides easy access from across the UK. The venue is a 20-minute walk from Piccadilly Station (or just 5 minutes by taxi), and a 5-minute walk from Oxford Road Station. If you are flying to Manchester Airport, the city centre is approximately 25 minutes away by taxi or via the half-hourly express rail service.

Will attendance count towards CPD?

We’ll issue a certificate of attendance on Friday 15 November, but you’ll need to self-verify depending on which sessions you attend, and on what you take away from each session. CPD hours are confirmed to be 5 hours for the full day.

I’m not a member can I attend?

Non-members can also attend the National Conference, however they will need to pay the non-member registration fee is £200 inclusive of 20% VAT.

What are the booking terms and conditions?

If you book a place and find you are unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. If you cancel your place after the 24th October, or do not check into the event, the PFS no-show policy will apply and you will be charged a £50 non-attendance fee.
